The price of the JioPhone 5G in India is said to be between Rs. 8,000 and Rs. A report says that the upcoming phone from Reliance Jio will come in different versions with different screen sizes and specs. It is also said to have a hole-punch display and thin top and bottom bezels. The JioPhone 5G price in India might be meant to attract a large number of people. Also, compared to Jio's other hardware, the phone is said to have a more updated and modern design.

A recent report from Counterpoint Research says that the price of the new JioPhone 5G will be between Rs. 8,000 and Rs. Jio is likely to wait until its 5G network is more widespread before trying to sell its 5G smartphone to more 4G smartphone users in the mass market.

"Further, at some point in 2024, Jio will also be forced to launch an affordable 5G mmWave + Sub-6 GHz smartphone as the cost differences between the two would have narrowed significantly from a BoM perspective," the research said. Millimeter wave (mmWave) frequency bands, which are higher than 24 GHz, can connect devices at very fast speeds with high throughput and low latency.

The JioPhone 5G is said to have a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an autofocus lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter on the back for taking photos and videos. On the JioPhone 5G, a selfie camera sensor with 8 megapixels is said to be available from Jio.

There are rumors that the JioPhone 5G will have at least 32GB of built-in storage that can be expanded with a microSD card through a slot for that purpose. There may be 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS/NavIC, and a USB Type-C port as ways to connect. The phone is also said to have a fingerprint sensor on the side. Also, the JioPhone 5G could have a 5,000mAh battery and support for 18W fast charging.
