Online Nigerians voiced their opinion that Korra's interaction with the police officers was unethical, and their criticism of the videos was harsh.
Korra Obidi, a Nigerian dancer and singer who is based in the United States, is currently vacationing in Nigeria and has been sharing moments from her trip with her followers and fans.
The mother of two, who was greeted warmly by her father and sister, Nancy Umeh, when she arrived in Nigeria on Monday morning at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, is already out and about in the commercial city.
Korra posted a video to her Instagram page in which she appears to be stepping out with police officers, probably for safety reasons. However, this seems to have offended a number of Nigerians online.
In the first video she shared, Korra was seen dancing lightly and resting her hand on the officer's shoulder while the officer watched.
Another video showed Korra with a female officer in her compound twerking for the camera while the officer was watching.
Online Nigerians voiced their opinion that Korra's interaction with the police officers was unethical, and their criticism of the videos was harsh.
In response, @empress_d_jay wrote on Instagram, "No dey use our police abeg." Sha is the Nigerian government. When you travel, I don't see any police investigating your video.
"You guys are just making Nigeria look so bad," tweeted @greatseanrec. Do you still require a bedroom security guard?
"Oya ohhh because you're in Nigeria you carry police be spoiling our name oh mama june," said @anniechigozie.
