This afternoon, some NDC supporters in the Northern Region surrounded the regional office to express their displeasure over Haruna Iddrisu's replacement as the Minority Leader in Parliament.

The party's backers claim that the reorganization, which had an impact on the party's parliamentary leadership, was an attempt to sabotage the MP for Tamale South Constituency.

The Member of Parliament for the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam Constituency in the Central Region and the Ranking Member of the Finance Committee, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, were named as the replacements for the Tamale South MP in a letter signed by the NDC's General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, and copied to the Speaker of Parliament.

But Tamale is on the verge of chaos as a result of the development. NDC constituency chairman for Tamale South, Alhaji Rauf Sumani, has been expressing his party's displeasure to the media.

Changes in leadership by the minority party; Ato Forson takes the place of Haruna Iddrisu.
