For causing property damage to the school, about 40 Krobea Asante Technical and Vocational School students from Asokore in the Ashanti Region have been detained.

In retaliation for their predecessors' dismal performance on their final exam, the students went on the rampage on Sunday morning. A school bus, a Nissan Patrol, a Mahindra and an Isuzu pickup truck, all belonging to the government, were among the four or five vehicles that were vandalized.

Additionally, the Senior House Mistress' Toyota Vitz suffered damage.

Additionally, the students abandoned a teacher's other salon vehicle. According to reports, the students also broke into the school's shop, destroying food and other supplies.

Although the students failed in their attempts to break into some bungalows, they did cause damage to some of the structures. To regain order on the campus, the Police stepped in. Following a decision by Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah, the school was subsequently closed.
