Celestine Donkor, a gospel musician, claims that she received a scholarship to continue her secondary education from Azumah Nelson, a former Ghanaian boxer.

She claims that she was the best Junior High School student with an aggregate score of nine, that she was accepted to her first choice school, but that her parents refused to accommodate her school's requirements. She also ended up in a different school, where she felt like a "dump."

She didn't get the earlier program she wanted when they finally did. She revealed that she later met her school mother at the school she didn't want, but she connected her to a church where she could sing and met Azuma Nelson, who offered her a scholarship.

In the school I didn't want, that was how I met my mother. I met Azumah Nelson, who gave me a scholarship, and she connected me to a church where I could sing.

She made this statement on the GTV Breakfast Show in response to the controversy and issues surrounding the 2023 SHS school placement, which many parents are unhappy with and want their children to attend the school of their choice.

She went on to say that God has a plan for everyone; As a result, they should remain calm and pray because God has a plan for them right now.
