Nana Ama McBrown was criticized by Okene Nana Kwame Amo, Tikesi, and Kwame Nkrumah for leaving the Despite brand after switching from UTV to Onua TV. This criticism was made on the morning show "Ade Akye Abia."
Additionally, Ola Michael, a presenter, fired McBrown from Neat FM after he left UTV to work for another station.
These people have shown Nana Ama McBrown little gratitude for the company and its managing director, Fadda Dickson, who gave her the opportunity by teaching her how to run programs.
A member of the Notwithstanding Media Group team known as Afia Pokuaa, more commonly referred to as Vim Lady, has responded to the criticism by stating that it is wrong for her employees to criticize Nana Ama McBrown.
She said in a Facebook post that the way of behaving was improper and would hurt the media.
As per Vim Woman, the owners of the Despite Media Gathering have no issues with McBrown leaving the association, so she is baffled regarding the reason why a portion of her collaborators are censuring McBrown.
The Lady observed that the critics were only acting in this manner to gain favor with their superiors.
She penned:
A task is an agreement to trade Abilities/Ability for Pay. By employing them, no one benefits in any way. Abrogation or repudiation of a contract is also possible at any time. In the same way that I, Abeiku Santana, Kofi Kum Bilson, and Obiyaa joined Despite Media after leaving Multimedia, anyone can switch jobs. It's simply a task. McBrown is accepted by the OWNERS OF DESPITE MEDIA, but the disciples constantly shout for favor with management. Did McBrown not increment our viewership as well? Or did you also give her the ability to act?
Is it common for football teams to attack players when they switch teams? My only piece of advice to McBrown is this: there are bad coworkers and broken systems everywhere, so don't give interviews about your previous employers. Take it from someone who has worked in this industry for over 20 years: just look forward to your new job and enjoy it because "emmre yenni nka so."
This attack by employees of Despite Media is not cool and portrays the company poorly.
